The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation

Scott-Free has befriended children in our community since its inception in 2008. This has been possible due to the continued efforts of the many dedicated volunteers, supporters and the Scott-Free Board of Directors. It is the support and generosity of a caring community that spills beyond the boundaries of North Carolina who has once again made it possible for an increasing number of our North Carolina children to attend summer camp programs during 2009.

On September 26th, supporters of Scott-Free, filled with excitement, adorned in jeans, cowboy boots and ten gallon hats, gathered under the tin roof of an old barn on a rainy evening, to celebrate the accomplishments of an inspired community, who along with our Camp Partners, made it possible for 46 children to attend camp. Congratulations to all of the poker and raffle winners. We are thankful to those of you who were able to join us for the event; it was a fun and memorable evening.

Very special thanks to THE WOODBINE EQUESTRIAN CENTER and for the many charitable donations from the contributors listed on this page, without whom, the success of the 2009 SCOTT-FREE EVENT would not have been possible!
