Hello 2014 Scott-Free Campers and Parents, I hope that you are all enjoying your summer and that you had a wonderful camp experience. Scott-Free is proud to announce that through our efforts and the kind contributions of the Raleigh community and businesses, we were able to send over 50 kids to camp this summer via Scott-Free. We are thankful for your willingness to participate in this endeavor, which resulted in kids having a great summer camp adventure! On Sunday, September 7th 2014 we will be hosting a very important information and exit session for all campers and parents from the 2014 summer camp season. This meeting is key to our continued success and it will also serve as the beginning of the process for campers and parents to learn what actions are needed to become eligible for consideration to return to camp in 2015, via Scott-Free. We invite and encourage each existing Scott-Free camp family to bring others who would like to learn about summer camp opportunities offered through Scott-Free. We will discuss the requirements necessary for returning campers, deadlines for completion, responsibilities of ALL regarding acceptance of a camp spot and the ramifications of last minute camper withdrawals from confirmed camp spots. This session is to help existing and prospective camp families understand the process to secure a summer camp scholarship opportunity through Scott-Free and the commitment and responsibility that accompanies it. This will be an informative and fun afternoon. There will be raffles and door prizes so please don’t miss this important meeting. We encourage kids to share community service ideas and camp experiences! If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for being an integral part of the Scott-Free experience. Starts at 4:00 PM, please be on time so that we may begin promptly at 4 PM. Thank You.
