A letter from the board for 2021

Happy New Year!

We hope this message is finding you and your family healthy and safe as we say “goodbye” to the challenging year of 2020. Based on the revised guidelines from the CDC, Local and National health officials to maintain the barriers of social distancing, shelter in place, along with masking ourselves for protection when in large groups, The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation will not be offering summer camp scholarships on behalf of ourselves or our camp partners in 2021.

While we are optimistic that the world is stabilizing and establishing a new “normal” as vaccines become available, reality has steered us to first focus our immediate efforts and decisions on protecting the health and well-being of our children, the staff who mentor them and you, their families, who will be waiting when they return home.

As the world is receiving vaccines and having the time to heal, the SF Board will be busy laying the groundwork to prepare a path to reunite your children with their friends in the summer of 2022 where they can once again, do what comes naturally to children, play and have fun. Remember to periodically check the Scott-Free website along with our social media page for updates.

Please contact us with any questions. We will look forward to hearing from you on January 1st, 2022, when Scott-Free will begin accepting Camper Applications for the 2022 summer camp season! Be safe and stay well!
