Returning SF Campers
To be considered for a repeat scholarship, returning campers must complete and submit all three requirements by the deadlines below. Use the two online forms on this page to submit the essays.
• Camper Essay: Include the name of the camp attended. Due September 30 of the year the camper attends camp.
• Community Service Activity: Complete by December 31 of the year the camper attends camp.
• Community Service Essay: Describe the community service activity and submit the essay by January 5, 2027.
Include the community service recipient’s name and contact information in the Community Service Essay.
CAMPER ESSAY
Begin the essay by naming the camp you attended. Tell Scott-Free and the camp about your experience, including what you enjoyed most and what could make the experience even better.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ESSAY
Describe your community service activity and experience. Include: (1) the recipient’s name and contact information, (2) the service you provided, (3) how you hoped it would help the recipient, and (4) how it felt to help make someone else’s life better.
